Output Standards

After graduating from the Biomedical Science program, students are able to:
  • Explain biomedical-related knowledge by applying fundamental principles of the natural sciences.
  • Solve specific and complex problems in the field of biomedical science by applying specialized knowledge.
  • Apply properly the fundamental and advanced experimental procedures and utilize specialized software in the biomedical field.
  • Communicate fluently in English, achieving the certification of B2 level or equivalent.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Develop foundational skills in critical thinking, creativity and entrepreneurship.
  • Have social responsibility and professional ethics in the biomedical field.

Graduation recognition conditions

Students majoring in Biomedical Science are eligible to graduate when they satisfy the requirements listed below:
  • Students are neither involved in a crime nor undergo academic suspension as of the time of graduation;
  • Students accumulate the minimum number of credits according to the requirements of the training program (133 credits), including mandatory courses as prescribed;
  • The cumulative GPA of the whole course is 2.00 or higher, meeting the output standards of the training program;
  • Students earn a certificate of Physical Education and Defense Education;
  • Students achieve an international B2 English level or equivalent prescribed by VNUK;
  • Obtain one of the following types of computer certificates: basic or advanced information technology application certificate, IC3 international computer certificate, ICDL international computer certificate, MOS international computer certificate;
  • Meet other conditions as prescribed by VNUK.
