Training Objectives

The program’s overall goal is to train high-quality human resources to meet the demands of the domestic and international labor markets in the field of Biomedical Science. Graduates of this program are equipped with international-quality knowledge and skills, as well as complete professional capability, the ability to study at higher levels, and to learn for life.

Specific goals

  • Have a profound understanding of the basic and in-depth knowledge, principles of biomedical science: biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, cell biology, and other paraclinical-related knowledge; along with modern complementary knowledge such as mathematics in Biomedicine, Bioinformatics
  • Have a solid background and diverse working skills as well as the ability to put these knowledge, methods and skills into practice to solve real-life problems of Biomedicine through innovative, flexible and adaptable approaches in the modern context
  • Have the ability to apply information technology skills in personal and professional contexts; be able to use English effectively
  • Have a high sense of responsibility, professional ethics, as well as understanding political and social issues to make appreciable contributions to the professions as well as to the community and motivate students to have a positive perspective about their own life-long learning and development path
