The Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) is a private university located in the city of Murcia, in southwestern Spain.

Overview
  • UCAM is one of the first universities to implement the European Education System.
  • The school’s teaching method is based on the criteria of focusing on each individual by only allowing a small number of students in each class and each student will have a separate instructor. The school has a close connection between theory and practice through study programs that meet market needs. UCAM is full of the cultural and historical identity of Spain. This feature will bring students interesting experiences during the learning process.
  • Ranked 10th in terms of teaching quality (according to THE 2019), in which International Business and Management is ranked 4th in Spain and 30th in Europe (according to U-Multirank).

• The exchange period at UCAM takes place in 1 semester or 2 semesters (1 academic year).
• Currently available for VNUK students, majoring in International Business and Management.

Subjects taught in English

Students can choose from the following two programs:

Conditions of participation

• Completed at least 1 year of study in Business at VNUK;
• GPA: achieved at least 2.5/4.0 (at the time of registration);
• Approved by the Head of Department/Dean of the Faculty about participating in the program and the study intended subjects at UCAM.

Preparation

1. Application form;
2. Learning agreement;
3. Passport photo (4*6cm);
4. Copy of passport;
5. Transcript of study at VNUK (in English);
6. Health insurance (in English);
7. Certificate of English (optional);
-> VNUK’s Research and International Office will send the above documents of students via email to UCAM.

Tuition

• UCAM Tuition: free.
• VNUK Tuition: students must pay tuition fees at VNUK for the semester in which the student attends an exchange course and the amount of this tuition fee depends on the subject and the number of credits that the student enrolls in. VNUK’s Academic Affairs Office will notify parents and students of this tuition fee before leaving for school.

Living expenses

• 450 – 500 Euro per month including accommodation, transportation, and personal expenses. For Vietnamese students, this cost is about 300 Euros a month (more than 8 million VND a month).

Health Insurance

• Mandatory for international students.

Apply for a student visa

• Contact to apply at the Embassy of Spain in Hanoi or the Consulate General of Spain in Ho Chi Minh City.
