Thoughts from our students

Wherever you go become a part of you somehow. England – the land of fog is a country that I have always admired since I was a child. There’s really a lot to like, the ancient architecture, the gold leaf seasons, Harry Potter, Cambridge, Oxford… .

VNUK’s student exchange program brought me to this beautiful country. Leaving for college was my first time away from home. After that, I got the opportunity to explore more, to Ho Chi Minh City for VNUK’s internship program (placement year). And this time, much further away, England. You’d think that I have got the hang of it by now but being this distant from my beloved motherland, I still can’t help but to miss it. To a new land; meet new people; make new friends and create new experiences have made me feel more independent and mature than before.

For me, this is really a very meaningful experience and also a highlight of my university life. I looked back and said to myself “I really don’t regret choosing VNUK as a place to send my youth.

In my third year, I set foot in Korea, the land of kimchi, a country with many beautiful scenes and famous culture that I had seen in movies. I lived in Seoul – a dynamic, modern, creative city but still imbued with national identity. The University of Danang and VNUK have created many favorable conditions for me to have the opportunity to study at Chung Ang University. Here, I got to spend another school year full of fun and memorable memories. From the awkward first time meeting my buddy at the airport, the lessons in class, the stressful days of studying until dawn with friends for the midterm and final exams to the CKEP trips to visit, explore the culture and shopping, take pictures of every festival.

Seoul is living and thriving every day, yet the food stalls near school are still there waiting for me to enjoy with friends. Also from the exchange program at CAU, I got to know many different countries, including Lithuania – the country that I am studying at the moment.
