Transfer programs
• 2+2 program: 2 years studying at VNUK, 2 years studying at Aston, earning university degrees from Aston University and VNUK.
• 3+1 program: 3 years studying at VNUK, 1 year studying at Aston, earning university degrees from Aston Universityand VNUK.
• If students fully meet the requirements of VNUK, they can also earn a degree from VNUK.
Requirements to participate in the program
• Academic transcripts at VNUK with a GPA of 7.0 or higher;
• A letter of recommendation from VNUK;
• A copy of the English language certificate: IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0 or TOEFL 93 with a minimum score of 18 in Reading Skill;
• Get the approval of the Dean/Head of Department to participate in the transfer program.
Tuition fees for the academic year 2023 and 2024
Aston BSc Business and Management: £15,950 per year (equivalent to 480 million VND per year). VNUK students will receive an incentive of 10% on tuition fees for each year of study at Aston. Therefore, the remaining tuition fee is £15,975 a year (equivalent to 378 million VND per year).
Students have the opportunity to choose to study the following programs at Aston University:
• 3+1 program: students can choose to study International Business & Management or Business Management.
• 2+2 program: students will be consulted by Aston to choose the appropriate major.

• Get the approval of the Dean/Head of Department to participate in the transfer program.
Tuition fees for the academic year 2023/2024
Aston BSc Computer Science: £20,650 a year (equivalent to 512 million VND per year). VNUK students participating in the transfer program will receive an incentive of 10% on tuition fees for each year of study at Aston. Therefore, the remaining tuition fee is £18,585 a year (equivalent to 439 million VND per year). If VNUK students continue to study the master’s program at Aston University, they will be granted an incentive of 20% on tuition fees. In addition, VNUK students who have never studied at Aston University before enrolling in a master’s program there will receive an incentive of 10% on tuition fees. • Students should check with VFS whether a TB test is required before submitting their visa application.
• Visa results: from 2 to 3 weeks from the date of submission of a complete visa application, excluding weekends and national holidays. The time for visa application results might be longer depending on the specific profile.
Under UK Immigration and Visas regulations, international students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic years and can work full time during holidays. Working rigorously is not advised as it could have negative effects on students’ learning performance.
Note:
1. Before going to study abroad, students are usually required to study at VNUK. Therefore, if students participate in the Student Exchange Program abroad, it will be difficult to join the transfer program.
2. In the student transfer program, there will be an affiliate fee to be paid to VNUK. This funding is usually paid directly to VNUK by partner universities, with the exception of Monash University (Australia). Therefore, before students go to study at Monash University, students will complete this payment once to VNUK with the total cost of $4,000 AUD (equivalent to 62,017,200 VND) (applied for 2024).
