Tuition fees

The VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education offers a wide range of scholarships to help students and their families pay for university. The scholarship can take the form of a stipend, reduction, or waiver of tuition fees.

Tuition Fee Information

Tuition fees for Vietnamese students

1. Regulated tuition fees: Including all registration and examination fees during the training process according to the prescribed time of a discipline. The applicable tuition fees will vary depending on the nationality of the student, the level and the type of academic training.

2. Tuition includes all administrative costs, course fees (except for optional courses) and tuition fees for overseas student exchange programs at partner universities. Tuition fees do not include the expenses outside the field of training such as: living and traveling, health insurance, dormitory accommodation and public transportation, fees for additional courses, fees for extra English courses, exam fees, entrance tests, etc. Such fees may vary each year and will be notified specifically at the beginning of an academic year.

3. Tuition fees for Physical and National Defense Education are not included

4. Tuition fees in 2023 – 2024 for Vietnamese students: 42,900,000 VND/year

Fees for International students

1. Students who belong to student exchange programs will pay tuition fees according to the agreement between VNUK and the training institutions that receive students. Students who do not belong to the student exchange programs signed between the Institute and the partner training institutions, pay tuition fees as prescribed by VNUK.

2. Lao and Cambodian students studying at the Institute under the Bilateral Agreement on Higher Education Cooperation between the governments of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia will pay tuition fees according to regulations on separate enrollment schemes for students from Laos and Cambodia. Students who are not specified in the above Articles pay tuition fees as applicable to international students.

3. Students from other countries other than Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and are not the subjects mentioned in Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article, pay tuition fees according to the regulations by the Institute for international students/students.

4. Average annual tuition fee for international students for each major: 64,350,000 VND

Tuition Discount Policy

1. Tuition exemption: Students who are eligible for tuition exemption are specified in Article 7 of Decree No. 86/2015/ND-CP dated October 2, 2015 of the Government on the collection and management of tuition fees for educational institutions under the national education system and policies on tuition fee exemption, reduction from the 2015-2016 school year to the 2020-2021 school year.

2. Tuition reduction: Students eligible for tuition reduction are specified in Article 8 of Decree No. 86/2015/ND-CP dated October 2, 2015 of the Government on the collection and management of tuition fees for educational institutions under the national education system and policies on tuition fee exemption, reduction from the 2015-2016 school year to the 2020-2021 school year.

3. Select the form of tuition fee exemption, reduction and/or scholarship: In case the students are eligible for tuition fee exemption or reduction as specified in Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article, and have excellent academic records to receive academic incentive scholarships or other types of scholarships, students can choose the highest form among the above forms and depending on the status/situation of the students, additional support could be considered.
