ADMISSION PROCEDURES

1. Foreign students from the partner school enroll in exchange programs for 1 to 2 semesters according to the terms of the contract signed with the partner school. Before each exchange program enrollment, the Research & International Office will call for candidates from partner universities.
2. The partner school will consider the candidates and nominate the successful exchange students to study at VNUK.
3. Registration documents required for participation in the exchange program:

a) Registration form for foreigners studying in Vietnam (Form as prescribed by UD);

b) Transcripts certified by the partner school;

c) Certificate of English competency (if any);

d) List of expected courses;

e) A copy of the passport that is valid for the entire period of study in Vietnam or at least 01 year from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam;

f) 04 photos in size of 4×6 taken within 06 months from the date of application submission (photo taken with white background);

g) Other documents at the request of the receiving unit and the training program;

VISA PROCEDURES

1. Apply for a visa before coming to Vietnam

After receiving the decision of admission from the University of Danang (UD) for exchange students to study at VNUK, students’ visa admissions will be supported.

Exchange students need to provide necessary information such as: full name, date of birth, passport number, passport copy, time of arrival in Vietnam.

Completion time is about two (02) weeks.

2. Visa extension while studying

At least one month before the visa expires, exchange students need to bring their passport to the Research & International Office for instructions on how to apply for visa extension.

Procedure:

 – Visa extension application (Form NA5);

– Fill in personal information;

– Submit necessary documents to the Research & International Office: passport, visa extension application, and visa extension fee (if any), 4×6 photo as prescribed by the Immigration Department.
