ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Foreign students studying full-time undergraduate programs at VNUK:

1. Before each enrollment period for a full-time formal training program, VNUK will issue an official written notice about the university entrance examination for foreigners. This notice will stipulate the industry, enrollment method; training program, duration and tuition fees; recruitment requirements; application for admission and fees; timeline of registration and admission; contact information.
2. Foreign students submit a set of documents in English or Vietnamese to VNUK according to the timeline of registration and examination at the Notice of University Admission for Foreigners.
3. General admission application documents include:

a) Registration form for foreigners studying in Vietnam (Form as prescribed by UD);

b) A verified copy and the Vietnamese translation of students’ certification and study records as prescribed for each level of education by the competent authority of their country;

c) A valid copy of the certificate of language competency according to the Circular 30/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 24, 2018 issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on the Regulation on management of foreigners studying in Vietnam;

d) A certified copy and translation of the birth certificate;

e) Health certificate (within 06 months from the date of application submission);

f) A copy of the valid passport for the entire period of study in Vietnam or at least 01 year from the expected date of arrival in Vietnam;

g) Receipt of examination fee payment  (if any);

h) 04 photos in the size of 4×6 taken within 06 months from the date of application submission (photo taken with white background);

i) Other documents at the request of the receiving unit and the training program;

VISA PROCEDURES

1. Apply for a visa before coming to Vietnam

After receiving the decision of admission from the University of Danang (UD) for foreign students to study at VNUK, students’ visa admissions will be supported.

Foreign students need to provide necessary information such as: full name, date of birth, passport number, passport copy, time of arrival in Vietnam.

Completion time is about two (02) weeks.

2. Visa extension while studying

At least one month before the visa expires, exchange students need to bring their passport to the Research & International Office for instructions on how to apply for visa extension.

Procedure:

– Visa extension application (Form NA5);

– Fill in personal information;

– Submit necessary documents to the Research & International Office: passport, visa extension application, and visa extension fee (if any), 4×6 photo as prescribed by the Immigration Department.
